You may be able to get help with your course and childcare costs while you study. Many providers also have bursaries and links to charities and other organisations who provide financial support to potential students. Get in touch with the course provider for more information.
If you are on low income you may be eligible to apply for the Learner Support Fund (Access Fund) or bursaries. These funds could help pay towards the cost of course tuition fees, examination fees, course materials and child care.
Advanced Learner Loans are for anyone aged 19 or over wishing to study for a Level 3 Certificate or Diploma or above (but not Level 3 Awards). Loans are also available to cover the cost of University level courses which include fees and the costs of living.
You may be eligible for a discount or have your fees covered if you are: unemployed, on a low salary, aged 19 to 23. Discounts may depend on where you live.
You may be able to spread the costs of your course fees with a payment plan. Different providers offer different payment options.
